Below are songs from an EP of a fantastic San Diego band that I produced and mixed. The initial base tracks were recorded in the guitarist’s living room with acoustic foam surrounding the drum kit, and amplifiers in ISO boxes. The band played along with a metronome click track to keep together at pre-determined tempos and to be able to combine takes during mix down. Then we then overdubbed vocals acoustic guitars and baby grand piano in the studio.
